Title: FiW First Nations villagers
Post by: James Morris on August 02, 2020, 06:06:02 PM
A while back I bought some First Nations villagers from Sash and Saber and have recently got around to painting and photographing them, so here they are. They’re nice enough figures, although the detail was a bit skimpy on hands and faces, which added to the painting time. They’re on the slimmer side of 28mm, so will match nicely with Conquest/ Warlord; I’ve got the bigger Galloping Major minis (shown in the last pic for comparison) but I think they’ll be ok as I shan’t be mixing them in units.

Edit: Something properly weird is going on with my iPhone and it’s refusing to load more than one pic!  I shall try again later.

I'll have to look into those. You can always use villagers for skirmish scenarios set in this period!

Great looking scene!!  :o

Very nice, like the choice of - mostly - muted tones.  I have another set of villagers to paint for my own FIW - but from Bluemoon to fit my scale of choice.
