I was reading a scenario book on Hamburger hill over the weekend. Much better than the film lol
It was time I thought to make some bunkers. In true megalomania style I thought the best way was cheap, quick and lots of.
So cutting up some suitable bases from some spare MDF from an old tangerine box (I knew there was a reason to eat them at Christmas.)
Then into the garden for some suitable twigs.
Once glued in place taking into account the item that I wanted to fit in. Therefore make sure the base fits and if you are putting in a roof there is head clearance.
If you are going for a roof cut the roof out.
Then using tile grout, which I use for all my bases, I put on the 'mud'. Once dry paint earth colour and then highlight.
Then add suitable amounts of vegetation.
Job done. Easy and very cheap to produce. As usual I went mad and made a lot. 😁

Well done.
I didn't realise Christine let you have sharp knives....
We ate the same tangerines at Christmas and stockpiled the bits of MDF after we disassembled the boxes.
Somehow we managed to get boxes that had duplicate lids....
(actually quite easy if you ask one of the shelf stackers while they are tidying up)
