Title: Looking for some 1960s cold war hot 28mm company sized rules
Post by: aktr on August 13, 2020, 08:11:47 AM
Hi,

I'm looking for recommendations for some rules that fit the following
Can be set in 1960s Cold war gone hot
work for 28mm figures
based around company sized games - so very roughly 2-4 infantry platoons, a few support weapons and maybe an armoured vehicles or 2 per side

it would be nice but not essential if.....
had some form of random activation so the players didn't know which unit would activate next
let you design your own 'factions' so we can do some nations that might not be covered

Thanks

Andy

The Zone from Partizan Press might work.

There might be quite a lot of "roll your own" vehicles involved (it is more oriented towards the early 'eighties of the books, but you should be able to work out your vehicle's from existing stats).

Activation is by drawn token, with one or more "end of turn" tokens that finish the turn even if you have not activated all your units. If you draw your side's token you choose what "unit" to activate, but you do not know if you move that vehicle if/when you can move the supporting infantry etc.
