That's absolutely wild.

It's a blatantly Nationalist propaganda film, but even so it's the whole show - civilians, troops, tanks, aircraft - even aerial combat footage. What a resource and what an amazing record.

Not propaganda? Pppshw! https://albavolunteer.org/2011/11/pro-franco-propaganda-in-the-us-russell-palmer/ (& ALBA isn't exactly free of bias either) and

Quote
A documentary about the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and the first to use colour film. After remaining in the archives for decades the film has been rescued along with others by Russell Palmer, president of Peninsular News Service, a pro-Franco pressure group that published several magazines in the USA, such as 'Spain' and 'Cara al Sol'. Palmer had Franco’s permission to film episodes like the conquest of Teruel, the occupation of Castellón, Franco with the Italian troops, air battles, bombings over the trenches and unusual pictures of the Spanish Foreign Legion and the Moor Units.

Notwithstanding that, it is a fascinating document.

Fox News before Fox News. Even the same editorial line. To borrow a line from Karr "plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose".  ;)

Interesting footage though.

And please do not connect with current sociopolitical situations overseas and raise a political discussion. Just saying in advance because of "Fox News" You do me that favour ?
Thank you !

More of a comment on the medium and its methodology, ie an early example of narrow cast broadcasting.

Yeah don't bring up modern politics. Its all I ever see on Social media. That is the one thing that keeps this site cool.
And here is the film in English https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5eh47a

what seem very interesting about this film is that it had been shoot in colour ..i suppose agfa film..and not colored subsequently as the majority of others...
i suppose that the kaki shade of uniforms from the dark brown of the tunics up to the greenish kaki of the shirts could be a reliable inspiration...probably even the attack up hill could be a true event...did you noticed also the realistic  lying down position of the Hotckiss machinegun tripod (rarely seen on wargame models) and the other Nationalist team manning a Russian MG, probably captured. Also interesting are the Boinas hats in kaki ..used probably by many units not only by Requetes or similar paramilitary organisations

No need to bring up current affairs. I think we can say that a film which shows no Republicans other than dead ones would be considered, shall we say... one-sided and leave it at that, eh?

Anyway it's primarily a historical resource now and there's nothing wrong with using a one-sided historical resource so long as you know where it stood and can correct for that if need be.

I think that we can still enjoy life including that interesting video even without any supposed to be “need To correct“

I started watching it.  It would be great if it actually had English subtitles, or if you could hear Palmers voice.
