I needed a small fortified village for a Hail Caesar scenario this coming monday so a build was required. Full instructions and photos on the blog for what was a fun and inexpensive project.

Nice work Giles 8)

Lovely work, although having seen the size of your Roman forces, I’d suggest that they should run for the hills
;)

Very nice. I would have to agree with Akula about holding out against the Romans...

Unless they have a druid able to brew a certain potion. :D Nice build.

thank you chaps....look out for the battle report later in the week. fighting tonight
-
Ohh thats nice.
BUT! The fact that you don't even mention the tedium of sharpening all those stakes and drilling the holes for them. Really enforces my theory that you must have an underground painting slave army somewhere..

very nice.

Cracking job Giles

I am about to paint some wooden palisade walls from Ironclad. Now I don’t know whether to go brown or grey ???

Great build.Where are the resin buildings from?

Very nice indeed!
It does cry out for a pair of Asterix and Obelix figures though.

It does now that you have mentioned it.
