Hi!
Some of you might have heard of Mars Code Aurora, a recent french rule set for 28mm sci-fi skirmish. Miniature agnostic and suited for all kind of minis (I will surely use my 15mm guys for it and reduce the measures lol ).
Currently painting some 28mm minis for it. Simply what I feel like working on at the moment.
First of many, Rancor, a space cop (mini from the Rogue Star range):

Going on slowly but I did a police drone. Very simple scheme. Miniature is a plastic Concord drone from Beyond the Gates of Antares.

Love the drone- great colour choices and painting.
-
Nice work mate,
Thanks for sharing.
I got several of those plastic drones when they had a sale
to use for 15/18mm
Keep it up

Beautiful colours & I love the basing!!!
How did you create the base textures & colours?
(Subscribed so I don't miss any more)

Great stuff 8)

Nice choice of colours and nice painting.

With Stargrave around the corner (and it's inevitable menagerie of random encounters) I am on a synthetic creep painting spree lol

Indeed. I also like the reddish tone of the bases :-* 8) :-*
-
Nicely done.
-
Thanks!
Red bases are easy peasy! Mournfang brown over the sand base followed by a coat of primer red dry pigment from MIG, followed by another coat of light rust dry pigment (also from MIG). Seal the whole thing with Essence F and make a quick drybrush of Jokaero orange!
As for the weathering, it's little more than sponge dabbing lol

Back with a squad that will make do for both Mars Code Aurora and surely Stargrave !

Love those greys 8)

Very nice painting and the models work well together.

Great thread! Love all the lovely paint-jobs on such a diverse collection of minis. I have rarely played SciFi games, but do occasionally grab and paint a figure. Stargrave sounds promising - a good chance to use 'em. Thanks for the inspiration!

Great painting on figures with character! Lovely crisp bright colours with just the right amount of grit!

So good - really enjoy seeing your minis pop up in instagram too. Your photos are excellent.
The undead crew are excellent - surely a space necromancer to go with them next??

The captain was initialy going to be a Doom Cacodemon (Evil Eye from Crooked Dice). I might finish it up tomorrow ;)
