Very nice job. I never realised just how big those early armoured cars were.
-
Very nice work :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
where is the staff car from?
-
Another question, I have heard a few times of this new Rapid fire 1940 book is this the "RF Blitzkrieg Battlegroups" on the rapid fire site or is it something else I have missed?
-
Great collection 8)
-
Well painted, excellent collection.
France 1940 is a interesting period.
-
Nice work...really cool looking force.

Unsure of the make. picked it up at a B&B about 10 years ago, only just painted it.
And the RF books you mention are one and the same!
-
Really nice collection. I gather they are 1:72 (never played Rapid Fire)?
-
anch_io
They are 1;72 scale
And you should give Rapid fire a go, I find they are a quick, fun and easy set of rules

Thanks for the answers

Great work, and I second (third) Rapid Fire as a brilliant set of rules(though I normally use the Normandy book).

I am playing two games in November, from the first NW Europe book 44/45. Arracourt & Herrlisheim

Great stuff, very nicely done. I haven’t done Early War but it may be next on my list (if I finish Overlord, Tunisia and the the not even started Pacific). Are you intending to do an opponent for them in the future?
Keep up the good work,
Stay safe and well,

In your first posts, you mentioned not being able to get Horches......there is a gu6non ebay selling decent looking 1/56 printed ones....he says he can easily re scale...worth a look?
BIG forces here.......what sized table do you play on?

Thanks, The trouble with a lot of 3D prints is that they show the cutting lines which have to be smoothed down. To much work.
I have a couple ATM. I will do them as a batch when I complete the 6 that I need.
We play on any thing from 6 x 4 to 12 x 6 foot, depends on the scenario.
Here is on a 8 x 5 (Standard RF game size for us)
(https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/nn208/1815philip/T_8_(1).JPG?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds) (https://app.photobucket.com/u/1815philip/a/f8ecd61e-fa38-491a-b3f2-30b9fa909b93/p/208dd5fa-a9b8-448b-a143-4f4da210606b)
But I can get this size out occasionally 6 x 20 feet

Phil I totally agree, although print quality is getting better there is still a lot of work needed if you don’t want your printed models to look terrible. I have a couple of printed models for really hard to find things in 15mm and have done a lot of work on them with Tamiya sanding pads (well worth their purchase price) to make them acceptable.
Excellent to see a game in progress I’m starting to think it’ll be a long time before I get to play against people again :)
Keep up the good work it’s keeping me inspired,
BALM
