Title: PRAETORIANS but not as we know them
Post by: Unlucky General on September 13, 2020, 04:49:41 AM
Comrades,

I whipped these up in next to no time and they are the most typical looking Romans I have ever painted. Thanks to Osprey Elite 50 The Praetorian Guard I was reminded that earlier versions of idependent operating Praetorians existed toward the end of the republic in the years of the later civil wars. I decided I needed one and so here they are. There is a bit more conversion work amongst this group than I've done before. More details on how I approached this on the link to my blog.  https://unluckygeneral.blogspot.com/2020/09/praetorians-caesarian-period.html (https://unluckygeneral.blogspot.com/2020/09/praetorians-caesarian-period.html)
