Would I be correct in saying that these Italian renaissance duelists: https://www.eurekaminuk.com/products/italian-renaissance-gentlemen-28mm?pr_prod_strat=copurchase&pr_rec_pid=3881075081264&pr_ref_pid=3881074360368&pr_seq=uniform
are approximately from the early 16th C? If so, are there similar minis out there for the same location and era? Most of what seems to be out there is Landsknechts and I want well born swordsmen like the Eureka figs. Thanks in advance.

To my non-expert eye they look late 15th/early 16th century to me. Casting Room miniatures produce 1 pack of Tudor civilians and The Assault Group produce a handful of civilians but I find their their website a nightmare to navigate.
I hope someone else can offer more suggestions.
Regards.

Ciao, as former historical swordmanship student I can suggest you this set: https://restattica.com/en/portfolio-items/marozzos-set-spada-sola/
Those are shaped upon the right figures of the Achille Marozzo's (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achille_Marozzo)book "Opera Nova" (1536), the main source of our school: https://www.achillemarozzo.it (https://www.achillemarozzo.it)

I have a feeling that the Eureka figures are supposed to depict the main characters from Romeo & Juliet, which should place it in the latter half of the 15th Century.
That Achille Marozzo set of figures is superb - perfect for a game of En Garde!
(Damn, I wish I hadn't seen them now......)

Thank you for this, everyone. I don't think I could have found this knowledge anywhere else. And I believe you're right about the R&J claim.

They'd probably be contemporary with the Tudor courts (Henry) or English sea dogs.

Previous century swordsmanship was more about the heavy long sword (see Fiore de Liberi or Vadi manuals online)
Could probably get away with using late medieval town folk as extras since they didn't have the resources to keep up with fashions so much

Does anybody make early 16th century italian thugs armed with cinquedeas?

Nice weapon ;) but unfortunately no, the only other suitable figures I know are from T.A.G: https://theassaultgroup.co.uk/product-category/renaissance/spanish/
