Title: scratch built Junk and Sekibune
Post by: duivelindoosje on September 25, 2020, 03:59:01 PM
Ages ago four of us started playing DBM, some more than others.
After DBM declined we lost a little track of each other.
A few years ago DBMM made us reach out again.
For one “mega fun” tournement  namely Stoertebeker Cup you do need to have some naval elements.
Very logical the event is on an island.
You can visit the website of the organizer http://www.jannbengen.de/
Theme of this year the “Chinese and their enemies”, too bad the global enemy Covid19 ruined it.
Army chosen was post mongol samurai, book 4 list 59
To have the naval elements we had a handy friend making those nice ships, a Junk and a Sekibune.
Around 3 Inch long on 1,5 Inch wide. Built from scratch with paper and wood, some eye for detail and a lot of patience."
The builder also know as Jan “Floki” the shipbuilder is open for business 😊
