The Battle of Rolica re-fight continues on my blog. The year is 1808 and Wellington is crafting his first of many victories in the Peninsular war, that is unless the glorious French army can stop him. This post is from the height of battle as crucial events unfold. Join me in this fun old school type Napoleonic battle using vintage figures from the 60s and 70s. The rules are a delightfully simple set called Muskets and Marshals. Que the time machine and off we go back to a wargame styled as though from the pages of Bruce Quarrie or Charles Grant – mostly….
