Title: ~6mm Atakebune. Óuchi & Murakami clans.

Ever since visiting the various Murakami museums around the Seto sea I've wanted to game the antics of the 'pirate' clan, and in particular their interactions with the Óuchi. Finding no (affordable) models of Japanese ships in a small enough scale to game with, I had to take things into my own hands. I made a master model from plasticard, made a couple of silicone moulds and cast myself a small fleet of atakebune.

Enough for a small scuffle, but not enough variation for a real fight, I'm going to need some smaller and more varied ships if I really want to do this right. So next on the list is a bunch of sekibune, then the pirates are going to need a whole load of kobaya. And then I'll need some islands and coves... looks like my hobby time is going to be in deep water for the next few months.

These look fantastic. How big are they? And, the inevitable question, are you considering making them available commercially at any point?

Thank you everyone.
They're roughly this size next to a 28mm(ish) figure. I've got some Baccus samurai in the post at the moment so I can see how they scale up soon for you Osmoses.  I do hope one day to be able to get them into the public's hands, I've got a few mould changes to make first though.

Fantastic work on these
