Thank you very much, that's very kind :)Rick, you've captured the 'look' perfectly!
:-*
I didn't see the helemts on the ground when I committed on FB. Very nice details indeed. :DThanks, I was thinking about chopping off some rifles from some other figures to go with them, but decided that was a step too far lol
Beautifully done. Everything from of your treatment of DPM (is it my imagination, or have you actually varied the shades from garment to garment?), to the colour and texture of the SLR furniture and kidney-pouches... Totally spot-on and exactly how I remember it.Thank you very much. Yes, there's 3 different base coats and 2 or 3 greens and browns, thought I'd kick the a##e out of it lol

Those respirator pouches turned out well.Cheers mate, saved me painting those bayonets lol I'm looking forward to the GPMG and command figures being released.
Great work on the DPM. A couple of guys I was at school with were in the Falklands, both in the RM. One of them was mentioned in a memoir I read of one of the commanders, and the other one was one of the detachment of 20 at the beginning who were held up in the Governer's house until they ran out of ammo and had to surrender.I read that most of those few who were there when the Argentines invaded went back with the task force to liberate the islands, was he one of those?

If only the argentinos had had the foresight to position themselves atop a flight of stairs....
Excellent job. We have the WW2 helmet heads out soon.Great stuff, looking forward to them.
We also plan Paras for the range to work for Europe and the Falklands.
