Title: Help with wolves?
Post by: Tim Haslam on October 23, 2020, 07:10:41 PM
I’m after some new wolves.
I love the GW 40k plastic versions, but I’ve already painted some of those.
They do have nice dynamic poses that I’m after.
This is a different project for me, a bit GoT in looks, using Fireforge fantasy humans.

So suggestions please.
Thanks

Mierce miniatures have released some new wolves.  They look to be a similar size to the GW ones.

Not as Tiggerish as GW, but ...

They also come in size L:

Reaper do a couple of suitable figures.

I’m currently going Mierce Miniatures, they do a pack of 5 in metal for £22
It’s for an Oathmark army so 5 makes a quick flanking unit.
I’ll add a werewolf to the army too, probably from Atlantis Miniatures

I’ll have a look at BS, I like there stuff...

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
This is what I’ve gone for.
Pricey stuff, but not loads of it, still £40+ when you factor postage in.
You never know one day I may actually get to play a game with someone!

So I’ve got a unit of large wolves and a werewolf.
My infantry have got a wolf head logo on the shields and the characters have animal pelt/skins, so it should all tie in nicely.
