Digits and I had conversation earlier in the week and since he’s got flittyitous yet again. I really need to get my mojo back after nearly 2 years of various illnesses.
So the plan is a figure a day or 7 in a week.
As you’ll see, from various periods, just what ever I feel like doing next. No plan.
Sunday night picture.
Feel free to comment or join.
First nurse Gladys and 6 British peninsula war.

+1 go for it !

Cheers guys.
Need to go and panic buy paint brushes from element games if they are open to public tomorrow.
Halfords today, 2 cans grey primer. Sure those cans have got smaller yet more expensive 😁

It is not that warm here in Blighty at the moment, so watch out when using rattle cans outside at this time of year, I have ended up with a grainy finish before...

Thanks for reminder Coronasan, had that rough coat finish before.
So here's my proof as you get older things shrink. Wagon wheels get smaller, hair line recedes and halford spray gets smaller.
Fully restocked on brushes and 2 figures down on target.

Best of luck matey.

Sounds like a really good plan :) best of luck! Focus is hard!

Scrubber, this is a very inspirational thread and a great idea. I'll be watching it closely.
-
Good luck with your plan and hope you enjoy the painting. I would add a head to that last British figure before you start painting though. :D

Just checked paints in case. What’s needed to see me through the rest of year.
Off to Element games.
So many others with same idea. Queue for paint stand. 😁

Week one done.

Well done!

Well done indeed

Well done. I might just take that challenge.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to do it...
Mainly because other than a stop at the GW store, due to the free model a month thing they're doing, I'm kind of stuck on other things for the next while as a leadup to christmas. Mainly because a lot of the christmas gifts I tend to give out are things that I'm working on.
I don't actually have that many minis to actually paint at the moment either

Back to the Brits for week 3. First green stuff to fill in air holes.
Also extra this week in vending machine since already based shop keeper.
Shock horror a gamer with no figures to paint. I’ve more unpainted than painted figures probably.

Yeah. Probably two to one in my case...

First fail this week.
Here come the excuses.
Numpty built soldier with ensigns body, so that’s one that wasn’t getting finished.
Two days wasted finding correct uniform for 3rd regiment east Kent for Peninsula War.
Also in isolation as with cousin the other week at solicitor, and both he and wife tested positive. Only another 5 days to go. So boredom set in.
Poor RC and vending machine never got touched with paint brush.
So here’s start for next week. This wee beastie.
Lots of parts missing, but David kindly donated some ages ago. (Pre move). But still a pincer missing from jaw. Any suggestion, nothing in my bits box.
-
Update.
Playing catch up, found box of plastic Russian napoleonic, started for selling on eBay, still 16 not painted. Could normally knock these off quickly.
So that’s this weeks job which will allow me to finish last weeks and prepare the beastie for painting.
