Title: 1/32 (54mm) Sci Fi Miniatures (added 6 new miniatures)
Post by: Katsuhiko JiNNai on November 02, 2020, 10:23:31 PM
I painted a 54mm resin miniature for a friend.
I painted this figure with a more realistic style than my usual bright old school paint scheme.
If I remember well this resin figure should be ispired by a mass effect character.

Nicely done.  He is indeed a Mass Effect character, the main one!
One of the set that North Star Models did, there was a version without the helmet also. Really lovely figures.

BioWare never could shake off the HALO influence though

Finally I painted two more 54mm miniatures (Andreas Miniatures) for my friend.
A fast and simple paint scheme but quite good. I will paint another one and about 14+ aliens of the same scale.

Some Aliens I painted for my friend. 54mm scale.
Simple and fast paint job, playing with drybrush and washes.
They will be the bad guys that will fight the "good" guys (Human Commando).
Still 10 miniatures to paint.

Nice work so far.
What are you going to do for scenery?

That's a problem of my friend  ;)
Actually he should have a space dungeon/boardgame for 54mm scale (the aliens should come from that boardgame), but I can use my jungle table without buildings.

Smart move. Bushes, rocks. trees etc. are fairly scale agnostic.

Another Alien Intruder, from the Nemesis Boardgame, I painted for my friend. As usual simple paint scheme with drybrush and washes.

Groupshot of the other alien intruders and commandos I painted until now.

Finally I painted all the Nemesis Intruders for my friend. He will use as 54mm miniature in his RPG. Now I must only paint a female commando trooper.

I painted the last miniature for the squad of 54mm Commandos that will fight against the Nemesis Intruders.
A female soldier from NorthStarModels. The two big guys are metal miniatures from Andreas Miniatures (quite bigger, about 65mm).
Now the commission for my friend is complete.
We should try to play these guys and the aliens with Pulp Alley.

More 54mm miniatures I painted as a commission for my friend. As usual, a fast and simple paint job.

If you or your friend are looking for another source of figures, there is Star Wars Command, released a few years ago.

I think they're out of production now, but you can probably find some on ebay and places. They are 54mm to the top of the head, so would be tiny next to the Andrea ones.
