Hi
Following our successful Kickstarter, the first packs of our new 15mm English Civil War range have gone to the casters.
So we're offering these packs, on a pre-order basis, on our website. We should have the figures to send out in December.
The first releases are 4 packs of Foot and 7 packs of Horse. Each pack contains individually sculpted figures to provide maximum variety for building armies.
These figures are true 15mm in height and represent the earlier years of the war.
We are committed to expand the range in 2021, and will cover all the main troop types, with artillery, more command, dismounted dragoons and personalities. We will then add later armies.

Splendid figures :)
Do you still need those two cannon? I don’t think my email is getting through (last one sent just under two weeks).
-
James - yes please!!
Simon
-
Got your email thanks. Will reply this evening :)
-
Lovely looking figures. From the photos they could be 28mm.
-
Excellent stuff and kudos to you both for producing such a finely detailed 15mm range 8)
-
They are really fabulous Simon.
If only I hadn’t just maxed out my 28mm ECW collection, I would be into these like a shot. But I can’t quite face or justify doing it all over again in the smaller scale, tempting as these beautiful figures are.
Well, maybe I will get a couple of packs just to see how they paint up... ::)
;)

Thanks for the kind words.
Just to show Oliver's detailed sculpting on these - at 15mm !!.
Here's close up of Lord Hopton - based on contemporary images - who'll be in a Royalist command pack for early 2021.

Superb. It actually looks like him. In 15mm!!! :o
-
My god, incredible!!!
-
Brilliant miniatures. Sadly at the moment I don't have the time or money to invest into the ECW. But I cannot wait to see these painted by some of the very talented peeps on this forum.
-
B**ger! Just bought two 28mm ECW armies.
C'est la vie as my French colleagues would say.
Superb looking miniatures.
-
Looks like my command stands are going to be completely redone.
-
Utterly amazing.
The quality of, and character in, the sculpts is incredible. Of all of them, I think the standing life guard set is the epitome of that - it's as if you've miniaturised an actual group of 17th century horsemen!
I have absolutely no space for a horde of 15mm soldiers, and no time to paint them. Neither of those things will prevent me putting in an order.

We're pleased to advise that the first releases are now available on the website.

The mould maker has done us proud and captured all the great details of Oliver's sculpts.
This will be a comprehensive range and this year we'll add other packs, artillery and commands - which should be ready for March.
many thanks,
Oliver and Simon

They are lovely :)

Hi
Longterm since posting, issues with password on new PC.
The 15mm ECW raneg has expanded and will continue to do so.
Here are painted packs of Horse - done by Chris Meacham.
Thanks
Simon.
-
They look superb Simon. To get this much character and accuracy into ‘true’ 15mm figures is no mean feat.
-
Exquisite pieces, both figures and painting.
-
Those look great!

Superb figures, l have been pondering getting back into the ECW but was looking at 28mm, you may well have drawn me back to 15mm after a 30 year abstinence.

Wow. From the photos those would pass as good 28mm.

I never knew an iron hat like that existed. Its like making a baseball cap out of kevlar

It's a 'sercret' on steroids. Many wore an iron secret (effectively an armoured skull cap) underneath a 'normal' hat. This is the same, but slightly more integral to the hat. There's one on display at the West Berkshire Museum in Newbury.

Zoom in to clearly see the metal liner. The hat is on display the wrong way round, the nose guard is missing but it is possible to see the whole, and the bracket that allowed it to be raised and lowered at the back of the hat (as displayed).

Hi
