Title: Once more dear friends, into the breach.
Post by: THE CID on December 02, 2020, 05:48:51 PM
Having survived a heart attack three weeks ago, I decided to finally finish my Copplestone Henry V. I thought I would take my time and put some love into it. The base was made to look like a mud bath, with foot prints filled with gloss varnish to set the scene.

Lovely paintwork, especially on the jupon!
Also echoing Captain Blood's sentiments, glad to hear you're still with us! Hopefully you're holding up ok given the circumstances!

Thanks Lads for all the good wishes, I'm doing well. The main thing is I'm painting miniatures again and getting some excercise. It's a good job we've got the NHS, they do a hell of a job, can't thank them enough.

Glad you made it through! I wish you a speedy recovery - it sure is a good sign you‘re painting already.

And a lovely miniature for sure. All the extra love you put into it really payed off  :-*

Watching Newcastle's enough to give anyone a heart attack!
Stay well mate, and keep dabbing the paint on.

Too bloody right, it could be worse I could be watching the Mackems ( Scumderland for those who don't know what a Mackem is. )

Thanks once again for all the nice comments and well wishes, they are much appreciated.

+1 to all the above comments, and to quote Monty Python,
'How do you know he's the king?'
'He's not covered in s#1t !'
