Title: 20mm East Africa 1939
Post by: Phil Portway on December 18, 2020, 06:47:16 PM

Fictional 20mm East Africa game using Rapid Fire rules.

It is July 1939, The Nazi war machine is building in strength in Europe, having reclaimed the Rhineland and the rest of Europe is seeing military activity on Germany’s eastern border, and in Libya, North Africa. The Italian army is now secretly mobilising in Abyssinia and Eritrea since their invasion four years earlier.

Cool.  I love obscure early war scenarios.

@Phil... wonderful AAR.

I like the narrative around which you're building the game/campaign. Look forward to future installments. What figure brands do you have making up your various forces? (My eyes are getting old enough that I couldn't tell from the game pics.)

Thx, Bill

The National Guard and Natives are from Early way Miniatures, Abysinian Army 1935 to 1943

The Italians in Pith helmets were a mix of Hatt WWI British Colonial figures and a variety of mfr's mainly lead figs. The SA figs are Strelets Union Infantry and the KAR are Airfix Gurkha & Australian figs, shitas are HaTT Natal Native horse.
