Hi guys,
is anyone using the Foundry Flesh Paints? What are your thoughts about their triads?

I’ve got the basic, Oriental and African and I like them all.
I use the African one for a lot of wood etc as well

I’ve used them ever since they came out and find them very good. I do use Dusky Flesh 6b as an undercoat for the standard Flesh 5 triad.

I was flush and bought the full range when they came out and have used them all through one project or another with no regrets. The six shade expert flesh is great for figures where there's a lot of skin on show.

Use them all the time. They are quite good paints to work with.

I bought the basic Flesh 5 triad ages ago and it was my go-to set for many, many years. Eventually I ran out of a tone or two and switched to an Andrea set, simply because the latter was already stashed in my desk drawer, whereas a Foundry resupply would have required an overseas order and their shipping policy was nuts back then. Both do the job in different ways. That switch just made me realise that the Foundry set is quite vibrant, almost shocking pink compared to my more recent output. lol Very fitting for old school fantasy or "Foundry style", but in some other uses it could benefit from mixing or washing to make it slightly more natural or subdued. Depends on the general look of your troops.
Of course, nowadays they have 12 different triads, thus you can probably find pretty much anything with no real need for other mixing than usual layering. I'd say it's fairly safe a move to start collecting them. :)

The original European flesh triad is my go to and has been for as long as I can remember now, I really ike it.

Just ordered the sets for flesh and horses from Foundry. I am very excited to give them a try. :)

I have all the Foundry human flesh triads and use them exclusively except for African flesh where I use mainly Liquitex Soft Body Burnt Umber/Burnt Sienna.
For Horse flesh I use some Foundry such as Arctic Grey, Slate Grey, Buff Leather, Boneyard, the Vallejo triads by Loki’s Greathall and Liquitex Burnt Umber/Burnt Sienna.

Got 3 of the sets and use them all the time.

Me too. I really like them, but they are hard to come by in Canada. The reaper paint triads are also quite nice, and I got the Flesh set from Scale 75 for Christmas, just trying them out now

I use the Oriental set for most of my "caucasian" figures.
I did switch to the Near East (I think) for my Spartans and Argonauts. I've also used the African, Dark African South American and Dusky sets.
