Anyone have a good suggestion on a manufacture for 20mm horses?

Are you looking for wild horses without tack, saddles etc? If so Irregular Minuatures do some horse and mule miniatures that might be of use.

Also model railways seem to be well served when it comes to farm animals, OO gauge is usually 1:76 which may come up a bit small but you may be able to make it work, a small scale large horse becomes a small horse in a bigger scale etc.

I've seen tiny toy horses in appx 20mm at craft stores such as Michaels or Hobby Lobby.  They were in the aisle that had the "Toob" toys, but were in seperate bags as they were of a smaller scale.

Unsaddled, as you prefer.

Thanks for the tips!

I'll check the local craft store first, but the Irregular Miniatures would do in a pinch. Horeses with saddles and such would be better, but I know options are pretty limited at this scale.

Buy a box off WW2 cavalry and ditch the riders. Check plastic soldier review for the ones you like best...?
