I couldn't stop myself adding more frosty white highlights. Maybe it's because it's snowing outside. Maybe it's because of lockdown? I think I'm going to stick with a Frostgrave with more frost. Which do you prefer?

I play Frostgrave with grassy terrain, because its more generic, can be used for other games too. But, if its frosty, then it should be really frosty!
Very smart design with the step sizes!

looks fantastic. I prefer the 'more' highlighted / frosted one.

Thanks!
I like leaving patches of the base colour. Adding a bit of gloss varnish/gloss glue/water effect over them gives a good impression of black ice. Doesn't really show up in photographs but they're fun to add. It does mean, though, that any texture is lost. Good for a puddle but bad if you change your mind.

I like the one on the right.
I have not started putting snow on mine, but I do intend to (plus on the matching sabot bases for Oathmark).

Yes, my mind is wandering to what other games I could use my Frozen City models for. I like the idea of a Weird War 2 in a frozen Gothic landscape. Lots of snow and winter camo - and demons!

The one on the right is my preference
