the thuggee weapons were the rumal (the yellow bandana like for stangulation) and the the sort pickaxe (to dig the graves for the victims).

thank you JBaumal,
I hope to get my way quickly as this is for skirmish games so few figurines are needed to play with FistFull of Lead core Rules... ;)

That will be a nice in action vignette.

Definitely a fun project ,and a nice change of pace from your Conquest to re build Rome .
Looking forward to seeing more.

I couldn't help but giggle at the pose of this figure. Looks for all the world like he just stepped on a drawing-pin. :)
Great idea for a project. I have still never seen that movie about Thugee that was out a long time ago. Was it a Pierce Brosnan film?

the picture don't give a good view of the figurine indeed.
I'll do a better one when i 'll finish the paintwork just for you Plynkes.
The movie is the 1939 one with cary Grant...adventures, friendship and humor.
-
Sorry, nervisfr. You don't have to do that. Not criticising your photography skills, or the sculpt, it just amused me that it looks like he has hurt his foot in that shot. :)
The movie I was thinking of is from the 1980s, and after googling it, I discovered it is called The Deceivers, and does indeed have Pierce Brosnan in it. I had forgotten the adversaries in Gunga Din were Thugs. Don't think I have seen that movie since I was a child.
Looking forward to seeing more. The guy getting strangled is a great (if gruesome) idea! :)

no problemo, i understand the joke but with this shoot angle he looks silly and not ferocious like he must be for a fanatic !
Don't know this movie with Pierce Brosnan.

Some Thuggees are finished.
And especially for Plynkes, here is a picture of his favourite Thug. lol

Wow! Really nice

Nice one, nervisfr!
The vignette turned out great (though not so great for the fellow in the pointy cap). And yes, I think hurt-foot-man will always be my favourite. :)

My vision of the thug Guru, preaching the good word to his faithful.

the Guru cloth from the movie is more "Gandhi" like 'the one in the front left).

They could fit the job indeed !
;)
but i need more madhist bodies for the stranglers team...... :?
-
WONDERFUL figures :-*
-
What a fantastic project! The paint alone would be worth the price of admission but the modifications to the figures raise them to another level!
Thank you for posting!
-
you are welcome . ;)
The Perry 's plastic is so well scultpted that the work is made easier.
I need to find more Mahdish bodies to complete the gang.
cheers
