Oh yeah! I forgot I ordered one of those...

Hopefully get mine now as well.
Coming up on three weeks since I ordered my copy.
-
Bleedin 'ell! At £20 a pop I think I'll give them a miss for now.
-
$25 if you're ever in the US or Canada.

Yes, but £20 for something you're going to get a lot of use for isn't that bad. And £2 cheaper than getting it from Brigade.
-
Dont get me wrong gents, I will be buying them. Just cant afford it with other projects simmering away at the mo. :(
-
Thunderchicken, you realise that within our local* VSF gaming group members we have about three copies of that rule book. Feel free to borrow a copy to see what you think of them, I'll hand you a copy at BLAM if you want, or could post it if you want to read sooner.
*admittedly, only the colonial types with their huge countries could call Shrewesbury, London, Plymouth, Nottingham, Western-super-mare etc local to each other but we all meet up!

mine arrived from caliver this morning,
looking good so far, the downside is I will have to order some parroom station minis now :)

Very generous indeed my good man, I'll take you up on that. I see one of your mob is in Shrewsbury, to think there is a fellow VSF spitting distance from where I live!! I thought I was all alone in the VSF wilderness that is the Marches.
-
The person in Shrewsbury is you ya bleedin idiot.
-
Now that's funny. lol lol
-
When I read that I assumed it referred to Thunderchicken..... lol
-
WHAT A TIT! lol
Looks like I'm still in the Wilderness then.
Just wait till Malamute and Svennn read this, I'm never going to hear the end of it!
-
So, forehead slapping aside, do you want me to post it or hand it to you at BLAM?
-
lol

Oh, the pleasure we are going to have milking this one ;)

;D ;D ;D
Shame.
And you got all excited there for a moment didn't you, thinking there was another VSF nut within dice rolling distance...
What are the chances of that eh?
lol lol lol

Almost calls for a conversion of the Thunderchicken "Twins" for inclusion in VSF games;)

Prior to retiring to my chambers for an evening cigar and brandy I wrote a note in my diary. It simply says "Bugger!".

Tweedle Dumb & Tweedle Dumber? :D
-
One more and you could have held a convention.
-
I was so tempted to run to my desk and paint up an entire Shropshire Regiment to help fight off the threat of the invading Hun but then found I did not have a suitable figure. :)

Hah!
Even better, how about Siamese Thunderchickens? Then he could literally play against himself!;)
Don't worry, TC, I'm sure they'll forget it, eventually. We've all said daft things at one point or another. You're just the most recent victim.

NO, this won't be forgotten, it will run and run and run... ;) lol
-
On a positive note as you didn't know this gamer you have at least publicly admitted you don't play with yourself lol
-
Thunderchicken pokes his head over the parapet.....
Phew, all clear! :)
-
Are you sure?
-
Incoming!

I actually received my set after a long wait. Looking good so far. But I must admit I did not realise they were going to be so specific about models to use. Doesn’t look to be to much of a problem but I thought they would have been more generic.

I think its only because they were written by Bob Charette to support his Parroom Station mins.
I think they are suitably versatile and easily modified to use with anything. The vehicle stats are easy to put together others than shown in the book.
-
I found the references and stats to the Mageknight stuff (Horses, Dragonflies and Rams) pretty interesting.
