I first saw these Sash and Saber figures in Andy from Old Glory’s display cabinet about 8 years ago - anyway I managed to buy them from their current owner Lee Gramson - I then rebased them and replaced all of the swords with steel ones and here we go - see what you think

2nd Hussars , splendid ! The chocolate and light blue combo works very well . I’m trying to remember if this was Brigadier Gerard’s old regiment.
-
Very impressive - excellent work!

Have you looked at Sash and sabre dragoons, they are not too bad.

magnificent. Love the animation - actually reminds me of old school / Gilder stuff in that way.

Hi Paul
Yes I’ve looked at them - I’m contemplating a conversion job on the Polish lancers using the men mounted on Perry Hussar horses turning them in to Vistula - because I hate Sash and Saber horses ! If tether don’t fit I’ll use Sash and Saber Hussar horses - have you added anything recently ?
-
That's what I have done, planning on a unit of 10 Vistula Legion lancers. Still not sure whether I should use Charge rules or Playable Napoleonic rules for some games (when I eventually get there!)
I had some spare pelisses so will be adding these to Perry Hussars, however while I like the uniform of the 2nd Hussars, will most likely have them as the 4th, add some dragoons and cuirassiers and I will have the cavalry for Suchet's campaign in eastern Spain.

Ian, what base sizes do you use for your cavalry?

Hi Paul
I use 30 x 60 ml per figure and multiples thereof

Cheers Ian, will make a note of sizes.

What do you mean replace the swords with steel ones? Where did you get separate metal swords?
Amazing work by the way.

I flatten large safety pins and then cut them off to size
