Title: Tap's (infrequent) Fantasy Painting
Post by: Spinal Tap on January 16, 2021, 04:03:43 PM
I've had 10 Frostgrave Gnolls for about 18 months and felt I needed to expand the group.

Being Hyena hybrids I decided I wanted to create a group lead by females who were bigger and stronger than the grunt males; to that end I bought 4 D and D Gnolls and a Reaper DHL female as queen, Bone Flail.

Based and primed the Queen yesterday and repositioned a couple of the D and D Gnolls with the help of a hair dryer and superglue so they didn't all look the same.

Also primed up 5 Frostgrave Snakemen I've had lying around for a while, still not really sure where they are going to fit in but got sick of seeing them unpainted.

D and D Gnolls had a bit of touching up, a wash and some sand on the bases before 5 hours solid painting and basing on the others.

Nice paintjob! My kids got a gnoll and a snakeman box, so we have to paint something similar.

Very nice work.

Interesting Gnolls.
