Hello everyone!
After a long time visiting this forum, I have finally decided to make my first post and show my painting work.
Here's my version of the "ogryn hero".
I hope you like it.
PS: sorry if I don't write very well, I'm using GOOGLE TRANSLATE.
-
Nice job on a wonderful figure.
-
That's a good first post, welcome aboard. Great work on that Ogryn, I particularly like his badges.
-
Nice!
-
Nice job on a classic figure!

-
Nice job! I always like seeing figures of this vintage, especially a nicely painted one.
-
Thanks for your comments!
I add two more photos, with the finished base and from the back.

He looks good 8)

In the end I decided to keep posting more of my Rogue Trader thumbnails, which is why I changed the title of the post.
Here's another one, a SQUAT CHAMPION.
The miniature came to me in pretty bad shape, with the chainsword broken, and quite beaten. With the paint job it shows less.

Very nice squat - I couldn't tell he was damaged. The painting has covered any issues nicely! I like the red with the yellow in particular.
-
It's time to FISHMEN!!!!
Although they look like piranha men, my body asked me to paint them green, so I tried different shades for each one, making them more heterogeneous.

The last of them, the one with the heavy weapon, has something unrecognizable hanging from his belt, like a round-headed mace. Since a space-themed mace didn't stick much, I decided to paint it to look like a heavy weapon flow "loader".

I hope you like them!

I very much like the fishermen! The green is a great choice :)
-
Thank you all for your words!
And especially to @axiom, because your recognition is an honor for me.
I have been following your blog for years, and it has served as an inspiration for many conversions, when I have not copied them!
That encourages me to continue showing my painting works here.
I will have to take many photographs of miniatures that I already have painted, as well as continue painting!
-
Really glad you like the blog! Thanks very much :) Really looking forward to seeing more of your work.

It's time to show my space pirate from the adventurer range.
It is not as flashy a miniature as others, but it has its own charm.

Sometimes I do conversions ...
I bring you my slaanesh renegade space marine.
It has components of various things and issues, but I think the result is still very oldschool.

Hello everyone!
Here I bring my atropath, from the TALISMAN TIMESCAPE range. It's my favorite astropath miniature from the ROGUE TRADER era.
I tried to make the tunic with a satin effect.
I hope you like it!

Hello again!
This time I bring my cthellean cudbear, KNIGHTMARE MINIATURES model, from their "space raiders" range.
I hope you like it!

Here I show you my slaver, which I have tried to paint following the description in the RT manual.
As many of you already know, the miniature is for sale at CROOKED DICE SHOP.
-
The last 2 are great, I really like the eyes on the cudbear.
-
The enslaver is excellent! Love that eye.
-
Thanks for the comments!
@axiom: the eye is clear that it is inspired by Sauron, but it is easy: a monster with a single huge eye that must be between yellow and red.
The purple color of the suction cups I copied it from you! I really liked how it was on your model.
-
I think the Sauron eye is forever going to be the iconic look for a giant evil single eye :D Glad you like my version of the figure too ;)
-
Good morning everyone!
As "ugly" as it may be, it has its charm.
It was one of the first to be released in 1987 for Rogue Trader as a telepath, then went on to be in the atropath catalogs, and finally ended up in the adventurer range as a techpriest.
Since I already have a couple of techpriests and an atropath, and since he doesn't look like one or the other, I painted him as a member of the adeptus astronomica, who according to the old manual wear blue.

Today I show you a miniature that I did not paint, if not my brother. But it's been 26 years since he painted it! In 1995.
Another space pirate.

HI guys!
After a long time, I bring you one of my favorite miniatures: the leader of the Hemalwr gang from CONFRONTATION.
I have tried to follow the color scheme that appears on the cover of GANG WAR 5 magazine from the first issue of NECROMUNDA.
I hope you like it!

I never tire of seeing a painted Helmawr leader - one of my favourite models too!! I really like the high contrast shine on his yellow jacket against the soft lilac of the pet.
-
Great work on these. The miniatures are all full of character and your paint jobs highlight that.
-
Some lovely old skool classics here that you have done justice to.
:)
-
Some fantastic painting lovely figures
-
Thank you all for your comments!
I'll try to show you the rest of the gang soon.
-

Simply beautiful! I really love that old school colour scheme. It really suits your classic miniatures. :-*
-
Very nice indeed! A fully completed Helmawr gang is such a rare thing. I really enjoy the yellow jackets on these.
-
Hello again!
I show you my "ninja" imperial assassin. I painted it after almost 20 years without picking up a brush.
It is one of my favorite miniatures of imperial agents.
I hope you like it!

:o yes!!!! fabtastic job on a great model!!!!!
-
Good again!
Today I bring my two plastic eldar guardians.
The one on the left is from the era of the second edition of the WH40K, but the one on the right (with a huge shuriken rifle) is the first plastic eldar officially released on the ROGUE TRADER era, but not for this game: it came for the "Eldar Attack" expansion of the Space Crusade.
The scheme colour is Yriel's Eldritch Raiders.

Lovely additions!
:-*
That completed Gang looks stunning, also good to see some proper old skool tiger stripes on those Guardians.
8)
-
That is one sweet Confrontation gang!
-
Sigh. I miss the days when shuriken catapults were weapons that struck fear in any foe's heart. The anemic version that's somehow persisted for six editions now feel like a sad parody of the real thing.

Nice Guardians, as for the shuri-cats do you mean a range of 24", Str 4, -1 save mod and following-fire? :-* see how old are we?
Keep up the good work with the old Eldar, I have some metal ones to repaint, the proto-Dire Avenger ones.

They had a -2 save mod in RT, and that when power armor was only a 4+ save. Think they had a +2 to hit within 12" too instead of the more common +1, but I might be wrong. Went through Marines like a hot knife through butter, and hardly anyone else even got a save. They were still pretty respectable in 2nd ed too, where the following fire became a sustained fire die, "regular" Eldar dropped a point of ballistic skill and enemy power armor climbed to a 3+ save. Still the best "rifle" weapon in the game, with the possible exception of the plasma gun (which is more of special squad support weapon, at least until Caul's freaks started fielding whole units with them).
Apparently the cost of having God Guns on their basic infantry for two editions at the dawn of the game was to get fewer new sculpts and units than any army in the game for the last twenty years or so. It's a good thing so many of those older sculpts were decades ahead of their time... :)

Gah, you are right I stand corrected, two many boltguns in my head :o lol
Yeah 12" assault only weapons for a race that is so advanced and dying out, stupid, stupid! In my version of 40K 3rd they get back 24" max and stay assault 2, Str 4, AP5 which is almost as good as the originals ;D

Good again!
Now I bring you my eldar dreadnought, following the scheme of the previous guardians.
I hope you like it!

Hi folk!!!
Today I show you my adeptus administratum. Those of you familiar with the oldhammer world will already know that this miniature.
It was unreleased at the time, and can currently be purchased at wargames foundry.
I hope you like it!

Good again!
Here I show you my squat conversion starting from a dwarf of the fantasy of 5th multipiece edition, cuts of cuttex, green putty and a pistol of a plastic orlock from the first edition of the necromunda.
I did it for a ton of years (2011 I think).
I should have taken a side photo because the visor of the cap and the neck of the fragment vest cannot be seen ...

Very rogue trader vibe from the squat/dwarf 👍
-
Nice looking squat I like the retro color scheme too
