Good stuff, m'Lord. But I too especially dig the LVTs. :)
-
This is right up my alley. In fact this post inspired me to actually join the forum.
A few questions.
1. What scale are the M5 stuarts and where did you get them?
2. Are the turrets movable on them?
3. Where did you get the LVT's and Alligators?

Good use of colours on the bunkers- quire realistic, well done.

Great stuff all round! Lots of cool ideas and nifty painting.
Please tell me one of the shirtless mortar guys is nicknamed SNAFU. :)
Have you found a ruleset that effectively plays out how difficult it seems to have been for US infantry to tackle the most well-prepared Japanese positions? I've never ventured into WWII gaming but always liked the idea of a game where one player is basically setting up as hellishly difficult a puzzle as they can, and the other player has to try to crack it. Pacific Island scenarios fit that perfectly.
Apologies if I've sidetracked the thread a little :)

No worries buddy and sorry for the delayed response.
I use either Bolt Action or CoC for WWII, but it's all about fun for me, so I am not too worried about accurately reflecting a real life.

I've added in some good support options such Stuarts, Buffalo LVTs, Alligator, Sherman and some much needed air support. The marines also have plenty of integral heavy weapons.

All the vehicles are either 1/48 or 1/50 scale, apart from the Sherman, the rest are 3D prints from: https://www.sabotag3d.com/

Nice work! Love all of the LVTs. There are still a number, and fragments of others here under water.

Your Japanese artillery really brings back memories. There was a Japanese Type 41 75mm Mountain Gun in a park where my dad took us fishing as kids. My brother and I would get bored fishing and play soldiers instead. As a kid, I had no idea it was Japanese artillery, but visiting it as an adult I noticed the Japanese writing.
