Here's a new video showing how I painted the Aliens from Aliens: A Glorious Day in the Corps:

Fantastic. Well done!

Cheers, it's a pretty simple technique tbf, it needed to be with 16 of them to paint...

Thanks for the video! Are you having any issues with their tails? Some of mine pop off.
Thanks.

I used a pin vice to drill into the body to make more room for the tail to join. Then I used some green putty to secure the tail in place. After painting up you can notice anything was added to reinforce the tail. I think this has helped somewhat.

Cheers chaps, I'm not having an issue with the tails, I used liquid polystyrene cement and it is strong enough to hold the tail after drying for a long while.

Here are photos of some of my painted Aliens. I modified the tails. I heated heated small pot of water, then held the tail in the water until the tail was soft; then gently reshaped it. Wanted to add more variety to the poses.
In the one photo I circled where I used the green stuff to add additional "strength" to the tail. You can't really notice it after painting.

They look great and a good idea.

They look good. And props for the tail adjustments.
