Part of the lot of Flintloque minis I picked up included a series of painted Todoroni Militia. Two of the models were unpainted so I took some time in between painting ACW minis to paint these two. I painted them to match the colours of the existing Militia minis. I did the shadows on the white in too dark a shade of blue but I am pleased with the rest of the paint scheme.

Toads always were the snazzies of dressers.
Great progress so far.

They are. I thought those were line troops but they are Militia. What they must pay for uniforms in that army :o

Superb. I don't play Flintloque but I've always liked the idea.

Um, they could just give their legs for payment (and in their case this is NOT a sexist remark).

Too many other frogs. It would drive the market price down

Love them. The Toads are my favourite of all the Flintlogue/Slaughterloo range.

Always had a soft spot for the Toads. Nice work.

Thanks folks.
I am really growing quite fond of them. I want to pick up some Pudigrochumsberg Dogmen but after that I may end up adding some more Todoroni

Very nice work, Toads are one of my favourites, very characterful sculpts. Nice to see your work on them, they look superb. :)

And the Riflemen are done

And now I have some Line Orcs to add to the collection

I already own a few Flintloque figures (the half-Ogre body guard, etc.) which I use in semi-historical contexts, I've never considered buying more... but your nice Todoroni truly make me doubt, they are so inspiring... :-*
I can imagine a small campaign, beginning in an usual medieval-fantasy world where Lizardmen and Orcish tribes etc. armed with bows and spears fight each other. Then, human traders / adventurers (18th century style) enter table and begin to display or offer or sell firearms (as happened historically between humans in America, and Japan etc.) and provide military training ("The Man who would be King") ...and the tribal warriors are slowly replaced by musketeers... lol
...No no no I have too many unfinished projects! ...However, I already have some Orc pirates with muskets and pistols... I would only need to buy and paint some Flintloque Todoronis... ::) ;D o_o
