Wow! Nice work. Is that a 3D print?
-
Very nice I've seen that popping up on eBay and Etsy and making myself not buy it I will have resist even harder now :)
-
That is a thing of beauty. Lovely work
-
I don't care if it won't fit in my garage, I want one!
Good work on it by the way.
-
Ooh nice!
I've been very tempted by those too, haven't quite managed to justify the £60 price tag but that shakes my resolve a bit.
It looks like a really clean print, was there much cleanup needed?
-
Lovely job Jon! Yep it’s the Scarab from Dragon’s Rest. Got mine from Swansea Dave at Proteus3d - lovely fella!

Cheers, all 8)

Minimal clean up - although that may have been done before it came to me. There are a lot of visible striations but, for once, I think they add to it's charm; getting rid of those would be a very long and labour intensive job and, realistically, not worth it for a gaming piece.
It goes together beautifully with no visible gaps or filling required - I painted it as individual pieces and clicked it together once they were finished. And it is still sturdy enough with the roof sections left unattached 8)

The design work on all the DR kits is really solid and lovely and modular.
I can just about live with the striations, and I am very picky, but again the design work deals with that quite cleverly.

I’ve got one of those, D (and a trailer). Nice job on yours!
-
Very nice model and paint.

I just wish he was still doing the 2nd dynasty stuff too. Picked up my last shuttle there and am thinking about a second.
-
Is this available as an stl file? I can't seem to find it on the Dragon's Rest website.

It's made from the vehicle kit:

Thanks! That's an interesting kit, and you can make a lot of stuff from it.
-
An amazing bit of kit expertly painted.

Great paint job on a fantastic model :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Next one - a little bit smaller and called a Bug...

As with the first one, the roof has been left free, the doors open and the wheels rotate to aide with game play and going Vroooom!
I'll be adding clear blister plastic to the windows but the reflections look shocking in pix...
-
Bloody marvellous!
-
Excellent! I have that one too!
-
Cracking model :-* :-* :-* :-*

It's makes the vehicles look small.... roughly 18" square

Top job!

Outstanding! Not sure which of the vehicles I like best!

Nice work mate :o

Another one - last one - of these; the flying version. not sure of the name of this variety. As with the others the lid is separate to ease gaming. The rear ramp goes up and down and the engines rotate for added authenticity when running round a room holding it and making Whoosh noises (I have checked to make sure this works) - Glazed the windows on this one too before taking the pix - it doesn't fog the inside of the cockpit in real life thankfully! (if anyone else has to do this, make paper templates and use those to cut the blister packs to shape - MUCH easier than trying to do them directly as I found to my cost >:()

I just love the chunkyness of this wee fella! Wonderfully done!
-
Love the painting :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Brilliant work Jon 8)
I’d been eyeing up those models online for a few weeks now but I’d never do them justice.
-
Now that's a lovely looking thing. Shades of the Serenity in its design, I think... 8)
