Title: Any experience with Warcradle's Dunsmouth terrain?
Post by: agoodall on February 11, 2021, 07:03:28 PM
I came across a link to Warcradle Studios and their miniatures game Mythos. They have a line of MDF terrain under their Warcradle Scenics branch called "Dunsmouth", which is clearly 1920s Cthulhu mythos inspired.

Does anyone have any experience with this terrain? Specifically, they list it as "35mm" and I wonder how it looks beside RAFM's Call of Cthulhu miniatures. It sounds like the terrain would be the wrong scale. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

I am also interested in a few pieces from that range and curious about scale compared to Sarissa 28mm stuff.

I contacted the company (directly; never heard back from a post on Facebook, which I think went through a service). The sent me diagrams of the Dunsmouth buildings with measurements. It looks like the doors are about the same size as those on Black Site Studios' buildings. I ordered a couple of buildings, and I'll know better when they arrive.

Never heard of them, until now.  Interesting.
If you are after quality buildings at a good price take a look at the current Crooked Dice KS.  Top quality Sarissa buildings at an unbeatable price.

Not 100% sure they are going to be the same size, but here is a comparison between Warcradle's WWX figures and a standard 28mm figure (Crooked Dice William Killian).

And William Killian outside a 28mm scale Sarissa Wild West building.
