Just finished this lovely kit, I wish they made more using this hard plastic! Really loved painting this guy, also from my fav starwars movie! More to come as I’m working on cassian andor

As far as I know, all the new stuff is hard styrene on a sprue. Everything they've released since the battle droids has been anyway.
So while phase 1 clones are the softer stuff, the phase 2 clones/arc troopers etc come on a sprue. Although I agree that it's a shame that the storm troopers and rebels aren't. Also a shame they're so bloody big and don't mix with 28s. Oh for a perfect world.

Thanks guys! I didn’t know the newer clone troops were hard plastic that’s awesome news, defo be buying some once I’ve nailed thru the starter set stuff

Looks fab! I recently finished my own. Though I ordered some decals for his arms but they haven't arrived yet.

That looks great. As a very large droid, do you reckon it would look ok next to 28/30mm Imperial Assault figures?

Not sure he’s fairly tall, I guess on a thinner base he would be okay?
