Commission I'm working on, the 3 feathers inn from a very old white dwarf scenario for WFRP.
Will be playable, with removable roof and first floor.
More pics as I make progress
-
great wood work :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
Looking forward to your progress
-
This is really nice, I'm constantly surprised by what terrain builders are able to throw up, it's already inspiring.
Looking forward to the finished project.
Thanks for sharing.

Looks good so far 8)
-
Looks like a really big place.
I've come to the conclusion that it's usually best to paint the interior walls prior to assembly. Much easier to do, even if you're just gluing in printed decor. If you're actually painting the woodwork and stuff, then prior to assembly interior painting is definitely the way to go.

All internal walls will be painted before fixing inside.
Trying to make it modular for easier painting and storage.
Ground floor is 2 pieces, first floor is 2 pieces, roof is 3 pieces.

Are you going to cut individual tiles?
Errr......No! :D
Got some Oshiro laser cut tiles, but might cut strips of 1cm x 1cm tiles.
Will be overscale but maybe more inkeeping with overall size.
Will have a play when I get chance and decide
-
This is going to be epic. :-*
-
Holy cow Batman. That is the biggest inn I’ve seen built to date. Wow!

Started tiling, decided on card strip tiles to keep in with the overall size. Probably only about 25% done.
-
That is coming along wonderfully; real patience in your tiling. The end result will be well worth it.
-
Brilliant!
-
The roof looks great. I find once you get going, the strips of card tiles go on pretty quick.

That is an impressive build. Looking forward to seeing it completed.
-
Finally finished tiling, waiting on some liquitex spray, then I can start on the fun stuff!

or
B: :-I Furfuxaaaaake man :`
lol
Sterling job!

Took a break from tiling to paint some figures....then took a deep breath and carried on

Loving the attention to detail with the wood. Excellent work.
-
class piece of work, almost wish I was 28mm to the eye so I could move in when you finish construction.
-
.
-
Indeed lol
Locally finding all the furniture for it's palatialness might be a bit of a bugger though, unless your wanting to end up sitting on cotton bob reels, you'd better ask the builder to leave some Balsa round the back & get building your own, I've heard it's pretty light at scale lol
My only concern is where the privy is.. will I have to dig my own through the base ;D

Very nice! Love the colour of the daub and the wood.

Cheers, airbrush is my trusty badger 200.
Also have an Iwata HP-C, but tend to fall back on the Badger.
Dont take the crown off, never got that to work for me!
Use a pressure regulator on the compressor and tweak that and the needle until I get what i'm looking for.
Still getting used to spraying acrylics, still prefer spraying enamels

Looks like you have spraying acrylics down pat to me. lol

My Badger 200 is a bottom feed and about 30 years old!
When I tweak the needle, I usually just open it a biit more. I find that using acrylics means thinning more and adjusting more to keep the paint flowing well.
I use Vallejo Air paints, but thin them to start with, can always add more paint if needed.
The Iwata is a superb piece of kit, can spray down to about 0.1mm. I have sprayed WW2 3 tone German camo freehand on 12mm tanks before.
But, as it was so expensive I tend to keep it for those 'special' jobs that need super fine work.
I started spraying with enamels, mainly because thats all there was back than! Main thing I like about them is they dont dry at the nozzle.
Yes the smell is grim, but I always wear a mask and spray in an outside shed anyway.
For solvent I use either whie spirit or cellulose thinners. Cellulose helps reduce the drying time.
I always clean with appropriate solvent ( Vallejo airbrush cleaner for acrylics, white spirirt for enamels) then strip down and use aersosol airbrush cleaner. Usually this is at the end os a session, not in between colours

I have 4Ground's large inn in my stash, but it's not half as big, or as gameable as your creation.
Many, many kudo's for sure... :)
