Title: 10mm dwarves scale differences
Post by: Shadowdragon on March 04, 2021, 09:32:44 PM
How different are the actual sizes of 10mm dwarves from different companies, such as Kallistra, Pendraken, Irregular, Copplestone, and Magister Militum? Does anyone have a pic showing all the different 10mm dwarves? I'm just trying to get a sense of which ones will mix well with each other, and see which actual scale (true 10mm or "heroic" 12 mm) is more common.

I have an army of Pendraken dwarfs and they are quote chunky and definitely fall in the 12mm range of things. Great figures though with a ton of character.

Excellent Miniatures just added both regular dwarfs and "chaos" dwarfs to their catalog. I've seen comparison shots with their stuff and GW's old Warmaster figs and they are pretty spot on size wise.

Pendraken and Kallistra dwarves are the same size as each other, and are definitely on the 12mm end of the scale.

Copplestone and GW Warmaster mix together fine, the Copplestone are a little larger than the GW ones.

GW BoFA plastic dwarves are the smallest by far.

I should be  able to take a photo over the weekend.

GW Warmaster minis are a bit difficult to come by nowadays. Are there any other lines similar in size to Copplestone? What about Irregular and Magister Militum?
