Title: Meng World War Toon cartoon "chibi" egg tanks

I ordered a Panzer III w/ shurzen and a plain Sherman to start. Painted examples are below. I have not received the kits yet, they should land in maybe 4 or 5 days.

They are snap together. They seem like they might work in a surreal way with 28mm minis if I squint. Kind of hoping to find some funny animal soldiers to put with them or some goony fat headed soldiers and mercs and such. Maybe they can work for some kind of Wacky Racers style warbands who fight in some kind of arena type board. I'm fine with ducks, pigs, armadillos, robots, jackals, vultures, rabbits, goats, etc. Anything I can find that looks kind of like it is wearing BDUs should work!

Would make for a visually interesting game of, 'What a Tanker'.

They are a lot of fun. I've got a couple for use with my Old warhammer 40k Orks. A KV2 (which i haven't build yet) and a Panzer IV

Lovely, even in PINK wiv an Orc commander, but ain't it a Panther?

I think you may be right about it being a Panther. Im not a ww2 guy!

Michigan Toy Soldier Company sells a mod kit to make the Panzer III into a Ausf B Stug III.

I hadn’t expected to see a resin conversion for a Chibi tank. Now I suppose we can expect etched brass detail sets.

I’ve had reasonable success converting old Minitanks into super deformed versions by the simple if difficult to control method of attempting to strip the paint off them with plastic-unfriendly solvent. Admittedly this wasn’t actually my intention at the time but like badly defeated football managers I can always take some positives from apparent setbacks.
