my little eclectic foray into sci-fi;
The Captain and crew of the Murgatroyd

Their nemesis "Floppsie no longer, you can call me Big Bunny"

And the mysterious character The Carcharodon

The painting is amazing, and the crew look like they've stepped out of an epic comic strip! Lovely work.
-
Love the pallet , it has a real dark proper sci fi vibe to it.
-
Thanks fellas :)
My photos always ar see a little dark, more so on my Ipad...
More to come :)
-
They are fab mate, liking that vehicle too
Cheers

These are awesome! And that might be the most melancholically sinister rabbit I have ever seen.
Do we get to see the Murgatroyd?
-
Thanks all, haha yes. Those of a certain age may remember Big Bunny from the Goodies.
Bear the Murgatroyd is half finished, then I thought it was a bit crap, luckily I have a fall back :)
-
Excellent job pulling all those eclectic things together- they look unified :)
-
What a wonderful dark sci-fi vibe. What is that vehicle behind 'Big Bunny"?
-
Those look exceptional! I too like the dark sci-fi vibe.
-
Thanks again chaps :)

Industria Mechanica I seem to remember mate,1/35 though works very well for 28mm/ish miniatures.

Amazing stuff.
-
Nice! I always enjoy seeing scifi juxtaposed with rural settings. Are those animal heads from Albedo Combat Patrol?
-
Thanks again :)
Indeed, Albedo heads.
And the Space Shark is getting a companion as we speak..

How did I miss this?
Lovely brushwork and conversion, mate.
A wonderfully disparate collection blended into a perfectly cohesive collection.
Most impressive!

This is a great thread. Love what you've done so far, and it's nice to see some more original/imaginative sci-fi rather than being in an existing setting.
-
Excellent stuff.

Fantastic painting and conversions, I love it... and some straight Albedo miniatures in there as well.
Love the color scheme.
-
As weird, wonderful, original, and brilliantly executed as ever 8)
The camo on the otters is superb.
-
Thanks all for the kind comments :)
I’ll try and keep the thread running,a bit of impetus for me,and hopefully enjoyable for you.
As an aside ; I plan to use the new Stargrave rules, however all crew members will be able to gain experience,I think this makes for a bit more of an immersive campaign, and allows a more characterful game. :)

Whoops! Almost forgot to reply; the APC is from Secret Weapon ,re‐barrelled with turned aluminium from a 1/35 20mm flak gun :)
