This is a rebasing project of my 15mm Macedonian army. Even with bulking out all the bases, will have at least two Sword and Spear 600 point armies.
I will base on 80mm frontage bases.

They are recycled plastic labels. The machine that etched the label was updated and thousands of these labels were to be thrown out. They got thrown a pals way and he cut them for me!

I did a load of rebasing over the last couple of years for my massive Raphia project. But I am so glad i did they armies look much better.

That was a biiig re-basing project you did there. :o :o I am cracking on. Re- based about 10 units ATM o_o

I have also done loads of rebasing over the last few months... its a right PITA but it is worth it, really freshens up the figures.
FWIW I've also done a very limited bit of tarting up of the figures at the same time, which usually involves
- re-painting all the spears, in a lighter colour (Vallejo Ochre Brown has become my go-to for this), as always some are bent and have flaking paint
- doing a smidge of blacklining under/around spear points and sometimes on hand/spear joins
- adding a dash of fresh metallic (and not then matt varnishing it away) to helmets and spear tips
- sometimes tarting up the shields with transfers and repaints
- adding some new paper-printed banners
These few things really seem to make the rebased figures look much more "new" than just rebasing alone

Antiquity April Challenge. Rebased this lot since beginning of the month. This will end up as about 3 armies as the points of the complete army is just short of 1800 points. All old 15mm Chariot Miniatures and Essex Some will need sarrisas and spears relacing. All Based for Sword and Spear. Will end up with 56 units.

Thanks Phil, it was a labor of love over two years that is just about finished( I blame Simon Miller of Big Red Bat fame). I have about 14 more elephants to base and that will be the project complete.
Then I may even lay them all out and take some army pictures and video

Roughly 1760 points and just over 600 figures were re- based in just 15 days.
