Title: Making slideshow battle reports
Post by: andyskinner on April 18, 2021, 01:48:27 AM
I've gotten lots of nice comments about my battle reports.  I think they could be better, but folks really like the format, a self-paced slideshow.

I've got reports from Quar (What a Tanker!), fantasy (Age of Fantasy and Lasting Tales), and sci-fi (Grimdark Future and Grimdark Future Firefight).

Someone asked how I did it.  And I've seen people say they were going to, but I've not seen one yet.  So if you do one, please let me know.

You can get to my other reports from the blog.

thanks

Interesting approach! I do the same (pictures, captions, tell a story) but I use an offline graphic novel PDF template, Comic Life.

I'll study Google Slides.

A long time ago I did a Quar battle report with Comic Life.  It was a lot of work.  More than this one, but I think I felt compelled to get rid of off-table background and I don't know. Bo should post my old reports, though I like the new ones better.
