Hello all, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jack Perry and I am a history student at Glasgow university, currently I am doing my masters in research with Professor Tony pollard (which many of you will remember from the Great Game held at the university a few years ago).
I am writing to you today to talk about my research, which not coincidentally involves wargaming!
Specifically my aim is to look into all aspects of the hobby and determine their 'benefits' ie their usage as a tool for; Anxiety relief/de-stressing (especially with regards to the lockdown periods), education, socialization and more, as part of this I have put together a small anonymous questionnaire which I have enclosed with his post.
I would be very grateful to any and all who fill out the questionnaire, which they may send alongside the consent form to my university email address ( 1104664p@student.gla.ac.uk )
I have also enclosed and information leaflet whcih I encourage everyone to read first, but if things aren't entirely clear please feel free to pm me on here or via my email address if preferred.
