Title: The Devil's Own
Post by: Unlucky General on May 30, 2021, 04:29:17 AM
Comrades,

Please find following a link to my latest completed min-project - my rendition of the Inns Of Court regiment reconnaissance troop in 1/72nd scale (or 20mm if you prefer). This unit was rounded out with my building of a second Daimler Mk2 armoured car and a Daimler 1a scout car.

Very nice indeed.  Love the cam nets you made from medical gauze.  They certainly fit the bill.  :-* :-* :-*

Thanks. You probably noticed the different shades of olive drab. The two new vehicles are darker and I used Humbrol olive drab whereas the lighter shades were from me mixing my own (from Humbrols). There was a time that would have annoyed me but I figures variation from depot to depot and ageing in the field might also give divergent results.

Great looking armoured cars.
I love the Dingo.
I have a few in 1/48.
