Hi all !
It seems to me that there was a line of 28mm "Wako" pirates !?
(It was a brand that also offered Ming Chinese)
Do you know where I could still find them !?
(This is to make a "test of honor" army)
Thank you !

Was it the Zenit miniatures Kensei and Torii ranges?

No, but it could be intersting !
I wonder if the kensei minies are 28mm !?
Thanks !

They did belong to Cavalcade but I can’t remember who the range got sold to.
-
Cavalcade then Forlorn Hope then something else. Cant remember who though.
Is it the fellow LAFer who does the Petal Throne/Tekumel stuff?
-
Howard Fielding? No, I don’t think so.

Kensei do a really nice range of Wako minis. I think they are a slightly larger than 28mm
-
1st corp have Chinese pirates and Sung Chinese?
-
Hi, I think Scheltrum Miniatures produced Ming and Wako, together with lots of other interesting figures ranges and models. Sadly I haven't heard if they are still trading.
Regards,

The Kensei miniatures are pretty much 28mm to the eyes, here's a quick pic compared to fire forge, hasslefree and GW 5th edition warhammer.
they are very fiddely though, I've got a couple of kickstarters worth of minis but so far have only painred a handfull, because assembly is pain, lot's of small parts that too small to pin

It's a bit late and you've probably sorted your Test of Honour army out by now, but I believe these are the ones you were referring to Byblos

Umm...actually yes. :-)

To Mr Tough Guy, do you know what company makes the Female Geisha Miniature in your photo?

I stand corrected :)

She's from Zenit's kensei range, although she may have been an exclusive for their first indigogo campaign, at least I can't seem to find her in their webshop.

Thanks Mr Tough Guy for the reply, I buy from and support Zenits Kensei Range from their web shop and newer KIckstarters, but missed their first indigogo campain.
