Heyhey, here's a miniature reviews by your truly. I had a closer look at Wargames Atlantic's French Resistance Fighters and tried to showcase the versatility of that set:

Good review! Thanks! I have a box of them, and they are somewhere in my (long and winding) painting queue...

Nice review — and yes this is a super versatile set!
I got these when I was looking for a source of inexpensive heads in fedoras to use for The Boppers gang from The Warriors (1979), and wound up using some of the whole figures with just a little carving to make Boppers, as well as head-swaps for others.

@CapnJim: Thanks very much! Yeah, I knew that if I didn't do that review NOW they'd vanish down the painting queue for ever. :-D
@Cat: Cheers! As I said in my review: Having plastic resistance is nice, but the main asset these figures offer is that they're guys in civilian clothes. And pretty generic ones at that. A great complement to the old Wargames Factory Apocalypse Survivors (Male), all of whom wearing very distinctive and individualistic/stereotypical clothes.

Interesting analysis of the sprue.
