Title: Has anyone ordered from Matador Models (1/72 Vehicles)?
Post by: JollyBob on June 22, 2021, 01:47:04 PM
Has anyone ever ordered from these guys before?

Their website and ordering process is distinctly... outdated....

https://matadormodels.co.uk/

Its literally a mail order service, i.e. you have to post them an order form and cheque.   :o Unless they are going to a show, I suppose...

Anyway, they took on a lot of Cromwell Miniatures 1/72 vehicles, and they are the only place I can find that produces a cold-war era British Conqueror tank. JB Senior has a birthday coming up and has been after one for ages, but given the suggested 35 day turnaround for snail mail orders, I'd need to get it in now to make sure its here on time.

If anyone has any experience of using them, order processes or even the quality of their goods, can you please let me know?

Many thanks
JB

I do have a S+S Models 1/72 Conqueror, but it appears to be unavailable at the moment.

Hobby Den do have one though:

Cheers for that, the Hobby Den one looks pretty good, and a decent price.

Oh, and checking S&S, the Conqueror is there and also looks great.

Either one of those looks like a much better option than mail ordering back in time to  the 1980s...
