Hello,
I am looking for a 28mm Vauban style fortification or at least a section. Any suggestions?
Thank you

Magister Militum in UK produce some pieces of “Vaubanesque” fortification. Very pricey and I hate to think of shipping cost outside UK. Paperterrain produce a Vauban fortress in various scales including 28mm.

Thank you

Currently making my own using high density foam and a Proxon.
There is a FB group for Vauban wargames, lots of home-made ones on there, and a few that are 3D printing.
Where are you based?

A friend of mine scratch-built this ten years ago... but it's a lot of work. o_o

I purchased the following Vauban fort last year and I am very pleased with it.

It is well worth the money time saved teying to build one. Just my two cents worth.

Have a look here, it is a 3D-Set. https://www.3dprintterrain.de/collections/america/products/french-indian-war-american-war-of-independence (https://www.3dprintterrain.de/collections/america/products/french-indian-war-american-war-of-independence)
Frank Becker used it for a FIW-Game at the Tactica:

I have a left over bastion and some wall sections from my 1/50th scale Castillo de San Marcos project. I would be happy to give them to you if you like. They are not completed but most are well on the way. Below is a picture of the completed model. Contact me at daftrica89@yahoo.com if you are interested. I live in the greater Detroit area, if you are close we can work out an exchange point.

That looks interesting.
Any details on construction?

It is constructed of blue insulation board with an exterior of cardstock and the wallboard compound. Step-by-step details can be found on my blog under "Adventures in Blueboard and Foamcore"; scroll down past the other projects until you get to The Starfort and all of the posts are in chronological order. https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/p/adventures-in-blue-board-and-foamcore.html (https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/p/adventures-in-blue-board-and-foamcore.html)
This is what it looked like in the raw blueboard

While anton ryzbak's approach of course is the most correct (and most impressive) one, knowing myself I'd most probably go with Amera's offering and build upon that. Of course it's more of a field fortification rather than a proper Vauban fortress....

The Magister Militum vaubanesque fortress is indeed rather nice but pricey. You do need to clean a bit of resin but otherwise it comes ready to paint. It does have some weight though, especially if you should go for a larger layout.
I only got one bastion and a tower but managed to create a small bastion with that: https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=124029.msg1561259#msg1561259 (https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=124029.msg1561259#msg1561259)
