Title: New shiny stuff. Peninsular Project stage 2.
Post by: olicana on July 29, 2021, 01:36:06 PM
Five orders from Front Rank later, and the Spanish have all now arrived. 34 bags of the stuff, a touch over 800 figures (not including guns, limbers, or horses). My lead pile is respectable again.

Mid-war Spanish are all over the place and hard to pin down but, if you want to see what these are, and more importantly the plans for what they will be painted as, see link below. My first post deals with the infantry I've chosen to buy. Cavalry and artillery post to come.

I still have four units of Brits to paint from stage 1 of the project (out of 99) before I can start on this lot (plus the five units for the French and British added as part of stage 2) but it feels close now. It did feel, for a time, that I was never going to get there.
