I've had a reet grand time knocking up some named Command Bases for my Italian Wars collection.

There is a King of France, Gonzaga a generic Papal Commander and the man, Cesare Borgia himself.

Cheers James, I've got a few Heavy Cavalry units worth of Command Bases now, I think they could do their own charge lol

Command bases and other vignettes really make a game look the bees knees.

Are you still using Furioso Ken?

We are still on with Furioso and tried out a few more tweaks today, with the stuff we did with the Generals it added a new dimension to the game and it was a cracking knock about, can't see us moving on from them now.

I think we've nailed it (for our group anyway) and I'll probably do an update on rules changes etc when we finish this run through of Fornovo next Thursday.
