Started building my first crew.
There appears to be a shortage of power armour types, so I have Kit bashed one from an old space marine body and some anvil arms and with some bits off the crew spru

Nice start, keep on posting.

Nice kitbashing there. Original beakies are always the best - although mixing parts from several generations works okay too.

Definitely a lack of power armor from North Star so far, although I imagine they'll do a kit eventually. In the meantime it's been an interesting project to experiment with bits box builds and use up some leftover GW figs.

Nice Retro look with that RTB-01 body.
What is that left arm? Drop Trooper?

Looking good. Has given me some ideas too.

Looking good. The camo scheme's interesting, and I love what you did with the plastic stripping on the base. May steal that idea.
-
Looks great. Paint job reminds me of an article in Miniature War Games back in the 80's where historical camo schemes were used for sci-fi miniatures.
-
A very clever kitbash - probably the best interpretation of powered armour I've seen for Stargrave so far! :)
-
A very nice job on him Colin :)
-
That is a cracking figure you have assembled there, mate.
Those old Beakie bodies scale up well with more modern parts it seems.
Good choice.
That camo scheme looks great too.

Ah those models bring back memories! Nice to see those cracking figures get a new lease of life! Great stuff colin! 8)

Good stuff! Lovely old figs. Did you have to chop much out of the IG arms for the Grenadier?
-
I didn't take anything off them
Size wise the are not much different from the plastic Squat arms I have
