Title: German Farmhouse from Warbases - Miniature Wargames issue 461
Post by: dampfpanzerwagon on August 13, 2021, 07:51:11 AM

The latest issue of Miniature Wargames features this highly modified MDF building from Warbases. I added egg box card to the main walls and plain card to the roof as well as mounting it on a new plastic card base.

I bought MW on the basis of this article alone - the egg box idea is intriguing and looks excellent. I can see an increase in egg consumption in my immediate future :)

Since experimenting with egg box card - I can report that it really is that versatile. I've used it for stone wood and even metal, in addition if you double-up and use two layers you can use it for roof tiles.
