I'm looking for Eastern Front terrain; wooden huts, domed churches, etc. I have seen the "Hovels" range and like it, although their stuff tends to run small. "Grand Manner" makes a wonderful range but their prices are ludicrous. Anyone know some other good sources? Thanks!!! ??? ???

With a bit of work, mostly heightening doors, the Pegasus Hobbies 1/72 plastic kits are pretty good value for money.

Warbases in the UK have a very nice Eastern front range. Including civillian for their churches.
If resin is more your thing then 1st Corps miniatures have an Eastern front range.
A good combination would be to add some of the smaller items and details from 1st Corps to the Warbases as they scale up nicely to each other.
If it's more of 'Stalingrad' and Urban scenery then it's more mdf to spare your pocket .Sarrisa and TT combat and EBay mdf seller's are the easiest option.
The TT combat stuff suprized me as the majority of it is nicely detailed. If your not into tweaking mdf kits.You might find some pieces suffer from their choosen method for representing cylinders and curved surfaces.

Hi, you didn't specify a scale. Blotz produce some nice MdF models in both 20 and 28mm, and I have some of the Sarissa 20mm kits. Nice albeit the "onion dome" of the Orthodox dome doesn't really "do it" for me.

There are also printed options available. I don’t have the Russian models but I do have some of their other stuff and it’s very well done. Pretty much the only clean up required is running a craft knife along window frames to rid them of tiny bits of flash.

There are plenty of places that you can find a white sheet large enough to cover a gaming table....
But more seriously, there is a Russian company called Um-Bum http://umbum.ru/ (http://umbum.ru/) that makes hard cardboard buildings, highly detailed, well priced and easy to assemble. They are HO scale, so a little small for 28mm, but if you are one of the many gamers who don't mind buildings being a little underscale for the figures, they are a great option. As mentioned the onion dome on the Sarissa church is odd, to say the least, my first attempt used papier-mâché, but I wasn’t happy and so found another solution. Here’s the end result. @Tactical Painter - great idea on using door knobs.
I've just had a look on the B&Q web site (a superb source of terrain-making materials) and they have a nice, cheap wooden door knob which would make a perfect Russian church spire: https://www.diy.com/departments/pine-round-furniture-knob-dia-30mm/986355_BQ.prd
Adding a small piece of thin card rolled and glued into a cone shape would produce the tapered top, on which you could place a cross.

I've mentioned this elsewhere. A useful alternative is 'Onion' shaped Christmas baubles. It's almost the perfect time to trawl the shops and Internet for them.

@Tactical Painter - great idea on using door knobs.
It’s actually a finial, the decorative end for a curtain rail, so if you don’t find what you’re looking for in the door knob section there are other places to look. That said I found mine in a large fabric and homecraft stores, not a hardware store.

Coritani sell the old Ian Weekly onion domes in resin in a number of sizes. I added one to my Hovels resin church for a Northern European 'look'.

I'll heartily second the Coritani recommendation! Very nice domes and excellent service. I needed one painted with blue & While stripes for a Hovels Russian Church with the original ropey looking dome removed. It was brilliant!
